Attorney Coverage (Docketly) Interface
Summary
The below functions were added to Q-LawE to assist with hearing management/calendaring. The new functions can be found in the Print Docket Calendar screen (Maintenance -> Print Docket/Court Calendar).
Attorney Coverage (Docketly) Interface
- Q-LawE has full integration with Docketly for hearing management. To optimize Q-LawE Hearing management, the Docketly interface must be installed and setup.
- Q-LawE hearing management will function without Docketly, but cases cannot be assigned to attorney coverage firms without the interface.
Users
- An active user for Docketly must be setup.
- Username: DOCKETLY
- Full name: DOCKETLY HEARING COVERAGE
- List name: DOCKETLY HEARING COVERAGE
- Access Level: 9
- Attorney users must be setup correctly on the AttyID, Billing tab of the User setup screen.
- Jurisdiction/state code field(s) must be populated a valid state code
Courts
- Courts should be setup with a default attorney in the court setup screen.
- If no default attorney is setup for a court, a user will be required to select an attorney when using the hearing management functions.
Hearing Types
- Hearing types can now be setup/edited from within the Print Docket Calendar screen in addition to system codes.
- Q-LawE has integrated Docketly’s hearing type list and information
- The vendorcode should not be changed without consulting Vertican or Docketly. These are unique keys used to communicate between the systems.
- HEARING must always be an option in Q-LawE. This value is used as a default if no other hearing types are selected. This should NEVER be deleted from hearing types.
